|  Kenneth was born October 5, 1929, in Manhattan, New York City, son of Joe Jahn and Grace Masterson Smith. He attended public school in the Bronx and the New York School of Printing. He served in the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1954, including 14 months in Korea. In October 1949 in the Bronx, he married Violet M. Romeo, born October 18, 1925, in the Bronx, daughter of Lawrence Romeo and Susan Marcanio. Kenneth worked at the Bronx Zoo. He retired after 31 years. He and Violet live in Carmel, New York. They have one daughter: -
Kathleen Susan, born February 20, 1955, in New York City. Kathy was married January 27, 1979, to William Peter Myers. Pete was born April 12, 1956, in Rockville Center, New York, to Robert James Myers and Carol Benson. -
