OBITUARY

Gerald A. Jahn

Gerald A. Jahn, born December 29, 1919 in Paynesville, Minnesota, beloved spouse, father, grandfather, great grandfather, & friend passed away peacefully May 25, 2008 in Bellevue, WA. with his family at his bedside. He gallantly served our country in WWII, from 1942 - 1945 and ended his tour of France and Germany as a Master Staff Sargeant in the Army. Jerry was a surveyor with the US Coast and Geodetic Survey for 37 years, traveling throughout the country and retired in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Mary. He was a kind and generous man who gave wholeheartedly to his family, church and community. He is preceded by his wife of 49 years, Mary, who passed away in 1997. He is survived by his three sons Rodney and wife Maureen, Gregory and wife Peggy, Joseph and wife Nancy, seven grandchildren, Angela and husband Robert, Ian, Jaret, Nathan and wife Brandy, Aaron and wife Darcy, Sarah, and Lauren, and three Great Grandchildren, Anika, Madeline, and Jasper Rose. Services will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Phoenix on Friday May 30th at 12:00 noon. Any donations may be given to St. Paul's Catholic Church, 330 West Coral Gables Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85023.
